Here is some breakfast options that will boost your energy for a day on the job. It will help keep the weight off while keeping your mind at focus.
If you are eating at home...
- 2 eggs fried in either olive oil
- a bagel or two slices of whole wheat toast
- 3 slices of Canadian bacon
- a glass of natural orange juice
OR
- one banana
- two table spoons of peanut butter
- spread peanut butter on two slices of whole wheat bread with banana in between
- a cup of green tea
If you are on the go...
- a cup of whole-grain cereal
- a cup of low fat milk
- a slice of whole wheat bread with a spoonful of peanut butter
- throw some blueberries in the cereal for more nutritional value
OR
- a low fat whole grain cereal bar
- a smoothie with a cup of milk, strawberries, blueberries, and a handful of nuts (if you want throw in some low fat whipped cream)
Those are just some examples of what your breakfast should consist of if you want to lose weight. Many people think that having a small breakfast or even no breakfast at all will help you lose more fat. That is very wrong. You should skip breakfast if you help it. Have a hearty meal that includes a source of carbohydrates, protein, and the good kinds of fats.
This will ensure you stay energized during the morning as you rush off to work. Another reason you need to eat breakfast is because your body needs nourishment after you sleep. Think about it, you just went about nine hours without any food. Even if you do not feel hungry have a little something. Believe me will regret later on.
