Champions League Draw - Chelsea Draw Barcelona For the Third Season Running

For the third season in succession Chelsea found themselves pitched against the current European champions, Barcelona in group A. Werder Bremen and Levski Sofia make up the quartet and it would be a huge surprise if either of those teams progressed.

In group B Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon and Spartak Moscow will do battle. Bayern have been weakened by the loss of Ballack to Chelsea, but should still be good enough to get through. Inter Milan have strengthened at the expense of their scandal hit rivals in Italy and will be hard to beat.

Group C sees Liverpool, winners in 2005, returning to the scene of their Istanbul triumph to play Galatasaray. Turkish football seems to have gone off the boil and Gala might struggle against both PSV Eindhoven and Bordeaux.

Group D pitches Valencia, Roma, Olympiakos and the dangerous Shaktar Donetsk, and the first two should make the last sixteen.

Group E sees the most successful European team ever, Real Madrid against Lyon, Steau Bucharest and Dynamo Kiev. Real begin the campaign under the returning Fabio Capello and they should improve on last season's dismal performance. Lyon under Gerard Houllier are still improving and should qualify.

Group F coughs up an Anglo-Scottish clash. Manchester United sent a reserve team up to Glasgow just before the season started and duly thumped the Scottish champions 3-0. Not many give Celtic much chance against United's first XI who have started the season on fire. Benfica look dangerous again. They knocked both United and Liverpool out last term and will need to be respected. FC Copenhagen makes up the quartet and may surprise a few people.

Group G features Arsenal, last year's beaten finalists, and they take on Porto, CSKA Moscow and Hamburg, not an easy group on paper for any of them and Arsenal will have to improve on early poor results at their brand new stadium. But expect them to qualify. No London team has ever won the European Cup/Champions League and Arsenal are desperate to beat their rivals Chelsea and Spurs (they're in the UEFA cup this time) to that particular honour. But Arsenal have lost several notable players such as Pires, Campbell and Bergkamp and though they have young rapidly improving players like Van Persie and Walcott, it is hard to envisage them picking up the trophy this time round.

Group H sees the banned, but reinstated AC Milan host surprise qualifiers Lille, AEK Athens and Anderlecht. Expect AC to win the group comfortably, and the others to all take points from one another.

For those who like a bet, early odds quoted go: Barca 4/1 favourite, Chelsea 5/1, Real 9/1, AC Milan 10/1, Man Utd 11/1, Inter 13/1, Arsenal and Liverpool 18/1 and 20/1 plus on all the others. You can still get a free $30 bet at betfair.com by inputting the code 6CHE3VPWJ when required.

So who will land the pot of gold of the Champions League this year? Barca have added Thuram and Zambrotta from Italy, but they were surprisingly smacked 3-0 by their compatriots Sevilla in the Super Cup, the match between the Champions League and UEFA cup winners. Barca displayed a surprising weakness in the centre of their defence and John Terry and his pals at Stamford Bridge are certain to have noted that. Best of the outsiders is the fast improving Lyon.

Chelsea have added Ballack and the wonderful Shevchenko, and may be Ashley Cole too. As I have written elsewhere, I think Chelsea can do it this time. They would surely trade the Premier League title for the Champions League. But what do I know? I'm still working for a living. Make up your own mind. Good watching.

Watch UEFA Champions League Online Instantly For Free?

Want to watch UEFA Champions League online now? Well, millions of viewers today are locking their eyes on the quarter-finals from 01 April to 09 April. Fans are screaming and predicting which 2 teams are going to fight it out for the championship on the 21 May 2008 in the Moscow Final 2008. Read on to find out how you can stop predicting and start watching UEFA Champions League online instantly!

There are only 3 ways to do it. One by subscribing for a pay per view or per channel satellite television service and the second using a satellite TV card. The third method is of course to use PC satellite TV software.

Let's take a quick look at the pros and cons of each method which you can use to watch UEFA Champions League online:

1. Subscribing for a special sports channel to watch the games will give you quality viewing with excellent picture quality. It will cost you quite a fair bit, from $10s to $100s of bill if you are going to catch all the matches played by all the teams. Popular teams like Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Valencia, Roma and Real Madrid are battling it out. Things are heating up and so will your bills if you were to watch every single game.

2. Buying and installing a satellite TV card onto your PC is another method but such a card does not come cheap either. It can cost you anything from $99 onwards. If you are a non-techie, go for the external plug and play version which is easier to install. One thing good is that the card also allows you to watch other channels other than to watch UEFA Champions League.

3. Downloading and installing a PC satellite TV software to catch your favorite players like Lionel Messi of Barcelona or Steven Gerrard of Liverpool score their goals again is another cool way to watch UEFA Champions League online. Such proprietary software is readily available and costs lesser than $50. For that, you can also tune into 3000 over channels of movies, TV shows, world news, radio stations and more. Picture quality is great and resolution is sharp. It is quite a steal for what you are paying.

So here are the 3 choices you have. Wait no further! Select one method and watch the quarter finals and semi finals and the finals in Moscow of the UEFA Champions League online instantly.

Do not miss Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United or Karim Benzema of Lyon score some goals in the subsequent games. Check out how the satellite TV software works and tune in to watch UEFA Champions League online for pennies today!

Triathlons Are For Champions

Triathlon is the fastest growing sport in cycling. In fact, the triathlon sport grew 15% last year when the bike business as a whole did not. I think there are some good reasons for this. I started out cycling for transportation, wound up racing, and now ride fast for fun. I get to see from a different perspective how steep the learning curve is for bike racing as opposed to triathlon. What is funny, I think the learning curve for mastering three sports exceeds that of cycling, but there is one word that trumps learning curve when it comes to gaining new entrants to the sport and that word is, inclusiveness.

Competitive cycling is a brutally tough sport. By design, you figure out a way to make your competitor do all the work and then you sprint around and beat him. Every part of a bike race one is on the lookout for an attack, or one is preparing to mount one. It takes a lot of rejection by peers, people who are better at the sport and of course, the feeling of hopelessness that occurs at the moment one is "dropped" to get over the hump and start to "hang". This is an exclusive environment and no wonder people describe bike racers as elitist. The mental games that go on in a peloton are tough when you know what is going on and even tougher when you are learning.

Triathletes, on the other hand, are quite gregarious and want to get everyone on the "swim, bike, run" bandwagon. They somehow manage their schedules and train untold hours but still seem to keep inviting and encouraging others to join them. Where a Category 5 bike race has a mix of people who don't know how to race or even ride well, mixed with fine athletes who are coming into the sport, a triathlon is much better at supporting all levels of athletes at the same time. One only races themselves and the clock. Everybody wins. All the "character building" elements of a grueling sport exist but they are made palatable and people anticipate the challenge.

When I raced bicycles, the sport of Triathlon was in its infancy. I didn't know much about it and over the years have gained a tremendous respect for the folks that are up at 4:00 AM to swim, then have a successful day at work, then do a run or a ride. Incredible!

From a business perspective, I discovered that the things I learned about fitting cyclists for time trials, road, mountain and track applied directly, with one exception. I found that triathletes riding the wrong setup on their bicycles suffered twice! First the ride leg is painful, with people having to sit up because the aerobars are too uncomfortable. Second, the transition to the run is painful because muscles are used disproportionately.

Triathlon bikes are very sexy looking. I find, however, that the least aerodynamic part of a tri bike is the rider and that power trumps aerodynamics within reason. Consider your bike setup and ask these questions. Are you comfortable the whole event? Are you stiff and awkward when transitioning to the run? Do you put as much emphasis on the bike as you do the run or swim? What would happen to your times if you did a bike focus and maybe even a bike change?

One other topic is worth adding to this article and that is the age old question, "Should I have a road bike and a tri bike?" My perspective is, you run with the fast runners, swim with the fast swimmers and should be riding a road bike with the fast cyclists. Even though you may not draft in a triathlon, the fact that you are comfortable going over 30 miles an hour in a pack will translate to much more comfort when at your time trial pace. You will have a bigger range of speed and can take better advantage of the terrain and the curves of the road. Additionally, you will ride smoother and in a straight line which we all know is the shortest distance between two points. So, a good road bike is important. A good tri bike that fits perfectly is a tool that can make a huge difference in the performance and enjoyment of a triathlon, so no wonder so many triathletes take pride in owning a nice time trial machine.

Un-Bull-ievable - Bulls Become Champions of the World

The Bulls became the dominant team of Super rugby for the last few years when they demolished the Chiefs by 61-17 at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria in the Super 14 final.

The scenes were unBULLievable as the stadium was packed with a sea of Blue - People dressed in blue, painted in blue, blue flags etc. There was drama as the lights went out, Eskom does have it's problems in South Africa, but thankfully the delay was not too great. The Chiefs were given a rousing Loftus welcome, and then the Bulls ran out to an amazing reception.

The Bulls had a great start to the game, dominating territory and possession. I thought Kaplan unfairly penalised us in the first 2 scrums, the second of which allowed the Chiefs to get out of their territory, put pressure on Kirchner and his poor kick allowed Masaga to score a try against the run of play. At that stage, the Bulls were under pressure, the game could have gone anywhere.

It is a testament to this Bulls team the way they respond to pressure. They are unBULLieveable. Guts, character, spirit and masses of confidence. These are the qualities the Bulls have exhibited in bucketloads over the second half of the season. Firstly Du Preez, then Du Preez again. Then Habana. Once they got on a roll, the Bulls machine was irrepressible. However the Chiefs then got a bit more possession and territory and started to threaten the Bulls line. It was simply unBULLieveable defence that repelled attack after attack, and that led to Bryan Habana intercepting another try right on halftime. ... at halftime, and the game was effectively over.

The Chiefs had to score first after halftime, and they started throwing the ball around as they tried to run the Bulls around. Eventually their possession and willingness to attack gave them a faint sniff of it at 34-14. However once again the Bulls responded with a pressure, pressure and more pressure.

Another penalty, and then Kaptein courageous Big Vic, scored a superb try from the base of the ruck. His vision all season has been superb. And the way he surveyed his options before scoring was awesome. The fact we've only lost one game all year with Big Vic at the helm, is testament to the inspiration of Big Vic. And that was only a 3 point loss when he was coming back from injury and didn't look himself at all. He does so much work that goes unnoticed. He cleans out every ruck, and secures the ball, he scans the field and directs play so well and his try was just reward for a great season. He's one of my top 5 players ever, a great guy, and a true role model.

After that it was simply a bit of Bulls fun. The result was never in doubt, the urgency was gone from the game and the Bulls were dominant. Olivier try was beautiful, Pretorius butchered a chance on the goalline, and then Spies capped off a great season with a superb intercept effort and sprint for the line. Once again it was Matfield scanning the field and tapping quickly that led to Roussouw's try. A fitting finale to the game.

Overall we dominated everywhere on the field. The set pieces were great, Matfield and Botha reigned supreme in the lineouts. 7 wins on opposition ball. The scrum was backpedalling the Chiefs.

At the breakdown we dominated the collision points. Kuun, Potgieter, Stegmann, they won almost every battle. Our kicking was almost pinpoint. We drove the Chiefs deep into their half. We chipped and chased and scored. We pressurised and contested in the air. There were no weaknesses anywhere. This Bulls side has simply gained in confidence every week. There is no side that would beat them in their current form.

At their pre-season camp in George last year, the Bulls set a goal of topping the log and winning the Super 14. They achieved that. It's a great lesson to other SA rugby teams. What you focus on becomes your reality. When you talk about how difficult touring is, it is difficult. When you talk about how great defences are and how hard it is to score tries, you won't score (ie Stormers especially). The difference with the Bulls is they offer no excuses and create their own destiny. They believe in themselves and the confidence they have exhibited has gone from strength to strength as they build their legacy.

They were the only team to win all of their home games, 8 in total. They became only the third team (along with the Crusaders and Blues) to win the Super rugby competition more than once. They became the highest points scorers in a final (61). The highest points margin in a final (44). The best looking fans, the best crowd, the best looking players, the best ground, the best cheerleaders...where does it end!The Bulls were simply the Best! Go Bulls Go!

Gymnastic Champions; Why Do We Love Them All?

Why are people so fascinated by gymnasts? Why do people love to watch gymnastics on TV? What is it about Olympic Gymnasts that we idol and why do we forever want them on our Wheaties Cereal Boxes? Are we awe stuck by their agility and power to weight ratios, as they do things that we can only dream of doing.

Are we stuck in admiration for their superior physique? Are we simply blown away in knowing that it takes years of training and dedication to perform at those levels? What is it about Gymnastic Champions; Why do we love them all so much?

Perhaps we love gymnasts and value their skills for all these reasons? Although some might actually be jealous of all their talents and agility; after all Americans are getting fatter than ever before and most of them cannot make it onto a horse or over a small fence.

While these gymnasts fly thru the air like Superman at a single pound. Of course for all those who envy or are jealous of them, there are ten times that many who admire gymnasts, their perseverance and commitment to train years on end to be able to perform at those incredible limits of the human agility. Consider all this in 2006.

Can the Pittsburgh Steelers Repeat As Super Bowl Champions in 2010?

The Pittsburgh Steelers proved to be the best pro football team in 2009. They came out of the tough AFC with a 12-4 record. They beat three solid football teams in the playoffs including the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII. But do they have what it takes to repeat as Super Bowl champs?

This may surprise most football fans, but I actually think it will be easier for the Cardinals to make it to the next Super Bowl than the Steelers. I think the biggest factor is the strength of the AFC teams. The NFC is much weaker so a team like the Cardinals can make it to the Super Bowl without playing to many powerhouses.

Just look at the NFC. You've got five other teams that won 11 or more games including the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers' division rival. The New England Patriots, who went 11-5, will have Tom Brady back as their quarterback.

Also, the Steelers dodged a bullet when the Tennessee Titans lost to the Ravens. This gave the Steelers a home game in the championship round instead of a road game against the Titans, the team with the best record in the NFL at 13-3.

Yes, the Steelers will still have an awesome defense but don't get too high on their offense. Ben Roethlisberger had inconsistent regular season. Their running game was below average and especially subpar during the Super Bowl. In fact, if you take away James Harrison's interception return for a touchdown and Roethlisberger's awesome passing game, you would be looking at a different Super Bowl champion.

So, considering these things, it's unlikely that the Steelers will repeat as Super Bowl winners. This shows the parity of the NFL. There are no real dynasty teams like the old 49ers, Cowboys, or Steelers teams. Many different teams have a shot and it all depends on who gets hot in the playoffs.

The Champion's Role in Successful Six Sigma Deployments

The champion is generally a person in a senior position like a senior manager or someone else who has the Six Sigma vision. They are in a position to resolve any issues that arise between the Black Belts and any other person in a higher position in the company.

The Champions act like buffers in any disagreements between the Black Belts and senior management. The Black Belts can then concentrate on their project area rather than be involved in disputes.

The deployment Champion has a support function within a line of business, customer segment or a core process team.

Business Interface

The Champions should be familiar with the technology being used in the various processes under consideration by the Black Belts for the project. They should avoid impeding into the processes and offering solutions. They have to ensure that the Six Sigma projects are aligned with the strategic business objectives.

Project reviews should be conducted to ensure that the project is moving along according to the plan, and that the results achieved as per the needs of the organization. From this, the Champion can also identify other areas for improvement.

Companies should use the Balance Score Card to apply metrics and measure the performance of the Champions.

Six Sigma Project Selection

Six Sigma project selection is an important function of the Champions. They should take it as an opportunity to improve the process. In project selection, again the key concern should be the alignment of the process to the objectives of the organization.

Six Sigma Pace Mediation

The Six Sigma Champions have to take the responsibility of pacing the deployment of the project. Sometimes, the Six Sigma provider or the internal experts who are responsible for the deployment tend to see completion of the project as the only metric of success. When a plan is made it should have goals, targeted at increasing the customer satisfaction.

Metrics should be set to decide on adjusting the project plans. The Champion should carry out thorough reviews of the project at various phases and provide appropriate support.

Otherwise, the Champion should allow the Black Belts to carry out the Six Sigma project and not redirect them unnecessarily.

Results Implementation

The Champion should not consider the Black Belts to be the only change agents; rather, the Champion should be the leader of change. If those in senior management believe in the change, then there will be quicker acceptability of the change.

Six Sigma Training

Training and assembling the right people to carry out a viable and fruitful Six Sigma project is the responsibility of the Champion. They Champion has to do it with determination, patience and conviction. They should also make the project fun to work on and ensure that the team doesn't lose interest in the project until its completion.

The Champion is responsible for overall alignment of the Six Sigma project with the goals and objectives of the organization, facilitating the identification and prioritizing of the projects, establish the training plan, planning a communication strategy and removing barriers for the teams.

Champions League Action Gets Exciting

There are some soccer kits that stand out from the crowd and lovers of green and white hoops are in for a thrill in the third round of the Champions League. The most famous club to wear the green and white hoops soccer kit are Celtic from Scotland and they will be joined in this round by Sporting Lisbon from Portugal. These two teams have clashed in the past with a need for a change soccer jersey taking place but in this round they have been kept apart.

Celtic will be lining up against Dynamo Moscow in the hope that they can repeat their qualification knockout of Spartak Moscow from two years ago. A deserved 1-1 draw in Moscow was followed by a 1-1 draw at Parkhead and it took penalties to separate the two sides. The hero of the hour was Artur Boruc in the goalkeeper jersey, saving from the spot and guaranteeing Celtic their Champions League windfall. If the club are to make it through to the group stages this season they will need the Polish stopper to be back to his sparkling best.

The other green and white soccer kit will welcome FC Twente from Holland to Lisbon in another match that could go either way. Steve McLaren has managed to bounce back from ridicule as England manager and has performed a good job in the Dutch top flight. The Portuguese team will start the favourites to get through this round but with home advantage, FC Twente will be hopeful of upsetting the odds. As long as Steve McLaren doesn't speak in that terrible Dutch accent again, then they have every chance.

Whoever progresses from this round shouldn't think that their work is done and start placing the Champions League patches on their new soccer uniforms for 2009/10 as there is still one more qualifying round to go and there are some big names lying in store. Arsenal, Lyon, Shahktar Donetsk and Stuttgart are some of the teams who will be competing in the final knock out round for this seasons Champions League which is sure to be of great interest to all. The fans of the teams involved will be wearing their replica jerseys and praying for the best result but fans of those who have already booked their spot in the group stages will be able to watch on in a relaxed manner. There are some fans who are annoyed at the way the Champions League is being restructured in order to make the big clubs more secure in the qualification but there are sure to be one or two teams who slip through the net and cause an upset. No matter how much the big teams spend, there will always be a team or two to give them a bloody nose and the 2009/10 Champions League will not be any different.

Make Money Writing About the 2009 Champions League Final

May 27th saw the final of the Champions League, the biggest tournament in world club soccer. The game was an anti climax, but you can still make money writing about it, and here's how...

Well, when you write your opinions about the match (and more about that in a moment), if people read your views and like what they see, they are likely to click on a link that you can put at the bottom of the article.

That link will then send them to a site that you monetize, and options are...

It could be a site that sells replica shirts, or game ticket packages, and you get paid a commission on any sales.
Maybe it's a memorabilia site.

In any case, you know that the people you send are interested in the subject, i.e. soccer, because otherwise they surely would not have read your article in the first place!

So what to write about..?

Well there are a few angles to come from.

You could talk about how the expectation of a great match was deflated by the fact that one of the teams Manchester United, just didn't play well, making for a fairly routine victory for Barcelona.

Or you could talk about the difference in corporate style - Manchester United are owned by Americans, Barcelona are owned by the fans who buy shares.

United have a £50 million shirt sponsorship deal, whereas Barcelona give their shirt space free to Unicef

So you can see that despite the game being a bit of a disappointment, you can make money by writing about it.

Champions of the Poor

Democrats hold themselves up to be the champions of the poor. It always struck me as odd that a bunch of rich guys and gals, most of whom have never held a real job outside of Congress, can claim to be "one of us", the working people. They do, though, and quite successfully based on the electoral polls.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were tools used by Congress ostensibly to help poor folks own a home. While home ownership is a big part of "The American Dream", it was never intended to be a guarantee. It was historically the culmination of hard work and personal sacrifice. It may be again once more, but not in the foreseeable future.

Helping people who are not financially capable of buying a home buy one anyway is not only a bad idea, it is cruel, as we are now seeing people who had a small sip of the Dream having it wrenched from their grasp. It's almost like stealing a sandwich and handing it to a starving homeless person with the police in pursuit, who then rip it from his hands just as he's about to take a bite. The sandwich-snatcher then blames the police for taking food from the hungry.

The Bush Administration is now the target, bearing the blame for the woes of Freddie and Fannie, when he tried to fix the problem five years ago.

From the above link, Barney Frank had this to say about Bush's proposed plan:

''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''

Note the title for Mr. Frank; ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. Maybe it's time for some new leadership in that area. Oh yes, and another financial expert, in the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charles Rangel, is in trouble because he had trouble navigating the tax codes! He then had the unmitigated audacity to blame Republicans for his misdeeds. He paid the back taxes, but "penalties and interest were not included in those payments". Yeah, he's just like you and me, alright.

This brings us to Barack Obama, who is leading the charge against the Administration in an attempt to lay blame, and ultimately win the Presidency. But while Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were about to crumble, Obama saw fit to accept over $126,000 from them. That's in just three years as a senator, folks. By contrast, John McCain accepted $21,550, over twenty years.

The bottom line here is this; the democrats were opposed to Bush's oversight plan for these two institutions because they claimed it would make it harder for poor people to get homes. So they staved off the inevitable for a little while and in the meantime some poor folks bought houses, which they are now losing again.

While it may appear to be compassionate, it is certainly not helpful at all to give a homeless person a new refrigerator box.

Follow Champions and Never Finish

In Martial Arts it is important that strategy be unfathomable, that form be concealed, and that movements be unexpected, so that preparedness against them be impossible. What enables a good general to win without fail is always having unfathomable wisdom and modus operandi that leaves no tracks. The Book of Huainan Masters - China Second Century B.C.

2009 Governor of California in his body-building days once said to me "the last 2 or 3 or 4 reps after your planned 10 reps makes the muscles grow. That's what divides one from being a champion and not being a champion. Have no fear, go into the gym, workout until you faint" - Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Will you follow the masses and never finish or will you do whatever it takes to reach success? Tennis Champion Roger Fedrer was asking himself that question and couldn't find the answer until 2004. He had found himself making the same choices while he was in his career. From 2001 onwards he made legwork - literally. His frustration and irritation with himself were signs of weakness. Business owners and entrepreneurs alike including myself find ourselves questioning many choices in our life of uncertainty. It scares me sometimes to not knowing and being certain of what will happen next.

What makes a champion? The ability to gain victory by changing and adapting according to the opponent is called genius - Sun-tzu.

Where will you be? When will your time to shine come? Will you get victory or will you be a loser; a nobody?

It was early 2001 and Roger Federer just smashed his racket on the ground out of frustration - this was the last time. Over the next 2 years he trained his mind and his body. He was physically and mentally prepared for success. He was coached by the best to be the best. His dedication, commitment and leadership paid off in 2004 when he dominated modern men's tennis. He was finally "on the board". His win-loss record for the year was 74-6 with 11 titles which included 3 out of 4 Grand Slams and 3 ATP Masters Series.

Sony Ericsson W995 & BlackBerry Bold - Two Champions at Your Service

The demand for the high-tech gadgets has increased enormously. These user friendly devices have become an integral part of our lives. The capable smart phones perform all the possible functions of calling, messaging, imaging, gaming and Internet browsing. Similarly, products from the house of Sony Ericsson and Blackberry assist the users with the best possible services and also get engaged in a competition. The Springboks Are the World Champions!

The first test between the World Champion Springboks and the British and Irish Lions will take place in Durban on Saturday.

Just how will it unfold? Many have their opinions, none more vocal than Nick Cain and his article "British and Irish Lions have nothing to fear from South Africa".

Firstly I would like to reply by saying, the Springboks are the World Champions! Get over it Nick. Just because we didn't play the All Blacks or Australians doesn't make it any less of an achievement. To say that England were more deserving of their victory in 2003 is a load of baloney! We beat everyone we had to, when we had to. We demolished England in the pool game! Whilst we may have taken our foot off the accelerator from the quarter final, we played winning rugby, and got the job done.

To say South Africa doesn't deserve their World Champion status because we didn't win the tri-nations last year is ludicrous! We had a new team, new coach and a new competition. England fell away after their World Cup victory in 2003, what then? Why doesn't the same logic apply and Nick believe they were undeserving of their title?

The concern revolving around Ruan Pienaar and the Bok team is our problem. We will deal with it and put out the side we want on Saturday. You just worry about your own side. It's an attempt to unsettle the Springboks, talk up the British and Irish Lions, and make the Northern Hemisphere feel better about themselves. Well face the fact. The Springboks are the World Champions, and they will demolish the Lions on Saturday. Maybe then you'll give them some credit...or maybe you'll need to wait until we win the second test and win the series!

Breakfast of Champions - Fat Loss

Here is some breakfast options that will boost your energy for a day on the job. It will help keep the weight off while keeping your mind at focus.

If you are eating at home...

  • 2 eggs fried in either olive oil
  • a bagel or two slices of whole wheat toast
  • 3 slices of Canadian bacon
  • a glass of natural orange juice

OR

  • one banana
  • two table spoons of peanut butter
  • spread peanut butter on two slices of whole wheat bread with banana in between
  • a cup of green tea

If you are on the go...

  • a cup of whole-grain cereal
  • a cup of low fat milk
  • a slice of whole wheat bread with a spoonful of peanut butter
  • throw some blueberries in the cereal for more nutritional value

OR

  • a low fat whole grain cereal bar
  • a smoothie with a cup of milk, strawberries, blueberries, and a handful of nuts (if you want throw in some low fat whipped cream)

Those are just some examples of what your breakfast should consist of if you want to lose weight. Many people think that having a small breakfast or even no breakfast at all will help you lose more fat. That is very wrong. You should skip breakfast if you help it. Have a hearty meal that includes a source of carbohydrates, protein, and the good kinds of fats.

This will ensure you stay energized during the morning as you rush off to work. Another reason you need to eat breakfast is because your body needs nourishment after you sleep. Think about it, you just went about nine hours without any food. Even if you do not feel hungry have a little something. Believe me will regret later on. At least stop at the convenience store and have a breakfast bar or something.
